Got a wild hair?! Our class III-IV Whitewater Rafting Experiences on the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River near Lake City is just the thing to satisfy your craving for high intensity paddling adventure! On this five mile trip, there is non-stop action and four major rapids that will knock your socks off! Come enjoy incredible scenery and a serene canyon as you power through rapids like Surprise Ledge, Cannonball, Rattlesnake, and Raft Ripper (home of Alfred Pucker the man eating wave). You and your brave paddle team can choose to pass the takeout and go out with a bang as you challenge the infamous Last Chance Falls (some hiking required ☺). We only offer two launches PER SEASON in this incredible stretch of river, so reservations are required and suggested as soon as possible to make sure you get a seat on these special trips. This trip lasts a full day and generally only runs in May and June.
